A sales case can be removed or closed, depending on whether quotes or billing have already been created for the case. The actions can be found under the three-dot action menu in the upper right corner of the sales case.

Removing a sales case 

A sales case can be removed if no billing or quotes have yet been created for it. Remove the sales case by opening the three-dot action menu in the upper right corner and select Delete project.

Closing a sales case

If the sales case cannot be removed, i.e. quotes or invoices have been created for it, you can close the sales case by selecting Close project from the action menu in the upper right corner. Closing hides the case from lists, but the data remains available in reports via filters.

Transferring work hour entries from one sales case to another

If there is a need to transfer work hour entries from one sales case to another, for example due to removal, the transfer can conveniently be done via the sales case using mass update:

  1. Open the Project plan tab of the sales case
  2. Go to the Phases section and click the total number of hours to view the report
  3. Select the desired rows using the checkboxes
  4. Select Select action > Change project and phase > Update
