The best way to enter absences is to use activities. You can add them from the top navigation's Add new menu, or via the Time & Expenses view by clicking the arrow next to Add work hours > Add absence. We recommend using the Add new menu if you are adding a longer period of absence, for example a holiday.
In the work hour entry form, it’s easy to add in hours that span a day, or only some hours in the day. Absences are included in the total hours in the work hour entry view.
If you use All day absence, the hour amount is automatically set as the Daily hours amount in your work contract.
