Severa is a system that is normally accessed from anywhere in the Internet. Some companies have stricter security policies that do not allow this and require that employees can use Severa only from trusted IP addresses. When Security add-on is enabled, company can create a list of allowed IP addresses into Severa and this way prevent access from other IP addresses. The restriction applies to integrations (API) and mobile usage as well. IP addresses can be either in IPv4 or in IPv6 format, and should be entered in a format of "x.x.x.x" (e.g. 192.168.0.100).
Security add-on is available in the Enterprise edition.
