Severa is a software that is normally accessed from anywhere in the Internet. Some companies have stricter security policies that require employees to access it only from trusted IP addresses. When Security add-on is enabled, company can create a whitelist of IP addresses into Settings, and this way prevent login from any other IP address. The restriction applies to integrations (API) and mobile usage as well. IP addresses can be either in IPv4 or in IPv6 format, and should be entered in a format of "x.x.x.x" (e.g. 192.168.0.100).

Security add-on is only available in the Enterprise version.
