You can access the task kanban view from the Severa side navigation under Schedule > Task kanban. Filter the view if necessary from the Filters section in the upper right corner by selecting the desired Project, Project manager, Created by or choose the desired User keywords from the + Filters button to filter the view.

If the Advanced resourcing add-on is enabled, conveniently view resource allocations from the same view by opening the Resource allocations section by clicking the arrow.

Adding a project task

Add a new project task by clicking the green Add task button. Quickly add a project task by giving it a name and defining its activity type, created by, project, day, and description. If you want to enter more detailed information about the project task, fill in the basic information and proceed to the project task edit window by clicking Edit:

  1. Define the task duration and recurrence if necessary
    • From - recurrence end
    • All day
    • Recurring: Select this option if you want to create recurring project tasks. Add a recurrence rule by defining the number of recurrences, recurrence period, and the end time of the recurrence.
  2. Define the project task status
  3. Add other participants and calendar resources if necessary
  4. Save and add the project task by clicking the Add button (you can optionally mark the project task as done when adding)

Reviewing and editing project tasks

Project tasks are displayed in the kanban view. The view includes project task statuses, which can be managed in the company's settings section Calendar & tasks > Project task statuses, by the main user.

The project task shows the name given to it, customer, project, and initial deadline. If the date has already passed, the date is shown in red. If the project task is already being worked on by someone, the icon shows either the user's picture or initials. Open the project task for editing by clicking its title.

Change the project task status by dragging the desired project task from one status to another. When the project task is moved to the Done status, it is automatically marked as done. Show unassigned toggle allows you to show and hide project tasks that have not been assigned to a creator.
