Project numbering

Project number is automatically generated unique number series used to identify a project.

Project numbers are numeric. If your project identifiers contain letters or special characters, consider using project short name to store that info.

Manage project numbering

To manage project numbering go to Settings > Project management > Project numbering.

By default project numbers are four digits long and you can change the numbering sequence by entering manually the next project number. When a new sales case or project is created, it will get the number defined here and the sequence is continued from there.
