Absence approval

If your employees enter their absences in Severa, and your company has an approval process in place, you can review and approve absences already in Severa.

Feature is available in Business, Platinum and Enterprise versions of Severa.

To take the feature in use, go to Settings > Time & Expenses > Absences, and enable the approval of absences. After enabling the feature, check that the permissions are in place.

Permissions to approve absences

Permissions can be given for permissons profiles or individual users depending on your needs. Go to Settings > Users > Permission profiles or Settings > Users > User management to get started.

Same permissions apply to approving work hours and absences, but note that to view absence details in detail (name, absence type and description), permissions to Users are also needed.
