Description

The Creamailer customer communication software includes an interface created by our partner for Severa, which allows Severa contacts to be automatically imported into Creamailer's mailing lists. The integration has been implemented by Creamailer, and they are responsible for the setup, support, and development of the integration. For assistance in case of any issues, please contact Creamailer's customer service.

Setup 

To successfully set up the interface, the SOAP API interface must be enabled in Severa. If you do not yet have the interface enabled, you can activate it directly from your company's subscription management. See detailed instructions on setting up the interface. Once the SOAP API is in use, you can create the API key required by the interface.

The actual setup of the interface is done from the Settings page in Creamailer. See detailed instructions on Creamailer's support pages.

  1. Select Software under the Integrations heading on the left side of the page
  2. Click on the Severa logo
  3. Enter the API key you created in Severa into the designated field and select Add key

Now the connection between the accounts has been established, and you can specify which data from Severa you want to import into Creamailer. This is done through linkages, which can be added without limit. Data is imported from Severa using contact keywords.

  1. Select New linkage
  2. Add the desired keyword. You can also add multiple keywords, separating them with commas. Note that uppercase and lowercase letters matter.
  3. Select the mailing list to which the contact information will be imported
  4. Select Add linkage, and the linkage is complete

If you want a person to be included in the mailing list, their contact information in Severa must have the option Allow contact by email checked. Contacts with the keyword and their information will then be automatically imported into the mailing list in the future.
