Contact keywords are words associated with a customer contact to identify roles, areas of interest or location. Keywords can be used to decide who to contact and delimit report results.
Contact can be associated with several keywords.
Manage contact keywords
To manage contact keywords go to Settings > Customers & contacts > Contact keywords. You can add new keywords based on your needs and edit the existing ones. When editing a keyword, you can see with how many contacts it is associated with and view a list of those contacts.
To disable or delete a keyword, just hover your mouse over the row and the available actions appear. When deleting a keyword that is associated with contacts, you are prompted to either move the contacts under another keyword or delete the specific keyword from them.
If you disable a keyword which is in use, it is still used for existing customers, but cannot be used for new ones.
