Sales process and its statuses can be edited in Settings > Sales & proposals > Sales statuses. The order of the statuses is based on their probability %. To change the status of a sales case, go to the Sales overview kanban view or the Sales tab of a specific sales case. To see the Sales section in the page navigation, the user must have at least Project manager level permissions to projects.

Sales case progress in the sales process

When a sales case is created, it is given a sales status and the sales case can be found in the Sales section of the page navigation. As the sales progress, the status of the sales case can be updated by dragging the sales case forward in the sales process. When the sales case is completed, the final status is selected based on the outcome of closing the sales case:

✔️ Won sales case

  1. When the sales case has been completed and the deal is closed, drag the sales case to the last won status in the process (e.g. Subscription).
  2. When the sales case is closed and marked as won, Probability is automatically updated to 100% and the expected order date becomes the current day. These fields can also be edited manually.
  3. The won sales case is converted into a project and can later be found in the Projects overview in the page navigation.

✖️ Lost sales case

  1. If the sales case is marked as lost, drag the sales case to the last lost status in the process (e.g. Not approved proposal).
  2. When the sales case is moved to a closed and lost status, the sales case is updated as a closed project and can later be found in the list of completed projects, for example via the Cases report.
