Activities are an essential part of project and calendar planning. Activities are categorized as calendar entry, to-do and personal and each group has it's own default activity type.
Even though absences are shown in calendar, they are not managed under Activity types. Go to Settings > Work time, travel expense & product registries > Absences to manage absence types.
Available activity types are managed through Settings > Calendar & Tasks > Activity types.
You can add new types based on your needs and edit the existing ones. To add a new activity type, click Add activity type and enter a descriptive name and select the category it belongs to (calendar entry, to-do and personal). You can also select an icon to reflect the type. The icon can be seen for example in To-do -list.
When editing an activity type, you can also see with how many activities it is associated with.
To disable or delete an activity type, just hover over the row and the available actions appear. When deleting an activity type that is associated with activities, you are prompted to swap the activities under another type as activities are always associated an activity type.
