The Visma scanner app will be disabled, and as a result the app will stop working for all Severa users during september 2026. In this article, we explain what the change means in practice. You will also get instructions on how you can export receipts and other attachments to Severa in the future.
What happens after it is disabled?
If you try to log in to the Visma scanner app, upload a new document to it, or open an existing document from it after it has been disabled, you will receive a general error message stating that something went wrong. The error message is expected; it does not mean that there is anything wrong with Severa or your user account. It is due to the fact that Visma scanner has been disabled.
What happens to old documents?
All documents (receipts and other attachments) previously uploaded via Visma scanner will remain in Severa. You can find and open them in Severa behind the travel expense as normal, and no information will be lost.
Which app will I use to upload receipts and other attachments to Severa in the future?
Adding receipts and other attachments has been possible and will also continue to be possible with Severa’s own mobile app. You can take photos of and upload receipts and other attachments directly through the app, and all the content you add will be available in Severa immediately – in the same place where your existing documents are already stored.
