Package fees are changing

We are revising the package fees for all versions. Up-to-date package prices are available on our pricing page. Current prices will be increased by a maximum of 5% towards the new package prices. The increase applies to billing periods starting on or after 1 January 2027. Administrators can view the current prices of your organization's agreement in Severa by clicking the gear icon and going to Subscription > Summary > Current payment period.

API exceptions

SOAP API: Going forward, the SOAP API will only be available to customers who already use it, and the API fee applies to these existing connections. For new integrations, we recommend the REST API, which is more modern and under active development.

API fee in Visma Solutions Oy product integrations: If your organization uses a free integration with another Visma Solutions Oy product that requires the REST or SOAP API to work, both the integration and the API usage are free of charge. Examples include the Netvisor and Visma Sign integrations. Check the free integrations in the table above.

API fee in other than Visma Solutions Oy product integration: If your organization uses an integration built by Visma Solutions Oy to a product other than a Visma Solutions Oy product, for example Procountor, and that integration requires the REST API to work, API usage is included in the monthly price of the paid integration, €29 / month / integration. Check the paid integrations in the table above.

Instructions and checklist for administrators

⚠️ These actions are the responsibility of your organization's administrator and must be completed before the new billing period begins. To complete them, you need administrator rights to the organization settings and subscription management. If you are an administrator in more than one organization, complete the actions separately for each organization.

1. Review your active integrations and disable the ones you don't need

  1. In Severa, click the gear icon and go to the Subscription page
  2. Open the Integrations section
  3. Review the active integrations (toggle switched on)
  4. Switch off the toggle for any integrations your organization doesn't need

2. Review your active REST API credentials and inactivate the ones you don't need

  1. In Severa, click the gear icon and go to the REST API page
  2. You can see the active REST API credentials (client credentials) under Client credentials
  3. Inactivate unnecessary credentials by clicking the Inactivate button on the right side of the credential row

3. Check whether the SOAP API is in use

  1. In Severa, click the gear icon and go to the Subscription page
  2. Open Integrations > SOAP API
  3. Confirm whether the SOAP API is needed, for example for an integration your organization uses
    • For example, the Severa–Netvisor integration requires the SOAP API to work, and the API cannot be switched off if your organization has the Netvisor add-on activated in its Severa subscription
    • SOAP API usage is free of charge if your organization uses the Severa–Netvisor integration
  4. For other integrations, confirm whether the API is needed
  5. If your organization doesn't need the SOAP API, switch it off by clicking the toggle

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

When do the changes come into effect?

The changes come into effect in your organization's billing period starting on or after 1 January 2027.

By when must the administrator's actions be completed?

The changes come into effect in your organization's billing period starting on or after 1 January 2027. We will notify our customers before the billing period affected by the changes begins, so your organization will know in good time which actions are needed. We recommend preparing for the changes by reviewing your active integrations and API credentials as soon as you receive the first announcement, even if your billing period only changes later.

Can our agreement price rise above the list price?

No. No customer will pay more than the current list price, even when the increase percentage is applied to the current agreement price. You can find the current list prices on our website: severa.fi/hinnoittelu

What if our organization doesn't use any integrations or APIs?

In that case, the changes to integration and API fees don't affect your organization. They only apply to connections and add-ons that are actively in use. With administrator rights, you can see the active integrations and add-ons by clicking the gear icon and going to Subscription > Integrations. You can find the active REST API credentials (client credentials) in Severa by clicking the gear icon and going to Settings > REST API > Client credentials. Your company admin has to deactivate all unnecessary integrations and API credentials before your new invoicing period starts.

Can I avoid integration fees?

Your organization's administrators are responsible for disabling any integrations the organization doesn't need. Integrations between Visma Solutions Oy's own products are free of charge, so only disable the integrations and REST API credentials your organization doesn't need.

Where can I see which integrations or API connections I have in use?

With administrator rights, you can see the active integrations and add-ons by clicking the gear icon and going to Subscription > Integrations. You can find the active REST API credentials (client credentials) in Severa by clicking the gear icon and going to Settings > REST API > Client credentials.

What if we use an integration you have built to a product that isn't a Visma Solutions Oy product? What do we pay for in that case?

If an integration we have built to a product other than a Visma Solutions Oy product requires the REST API or SOAP API to work, the API credential itself is free of charge and is included in the integration's monthly price of €29 / month / integration. One example of such an integration is the renewed Severa–Procountor integration.

We use the Severa–Netvisor integration, which is built on the SOAP API. Do we pay for using the SOAP API?

No, you don't. All integrations between Visma Solutions Oy's own products are free of charge, so in this case the SOAP API doesn't cause any additional costs. The SOAP API cannot be disabled if your organization has the Netvisor add-on activated on the Severa Subscription page.

Several of our users have a SOAP API key created in their Severa user profile. Is there a fee for each SOAP API key created?

SOAP API pricing is based on whether the API is active, not on the number of SOAP API keys created or in use. If several administrators in your organization have a SOAP API key created in their user profile, you don't pay for each SOAP API key separately, you only pay for the general API fee. If the SOAP API add-on is activated on the Severa Subscription page, the fee is charged accordingly €29 / month.

What is an API client, and how do I know if it is needed?

REST API pricing is based on the active API client credentials in use. The credentials are used for various integration implementations. If you are unsure whether the API is needed, first check with your organization's IT department whether the active credentials are necessary. Credentials often have a description that specifies what they were created for. You can see the active credentials in Severa by clicking the gear icon and going to REST API > Client credentials. Inactivate the ones you don't need by clicking the Inactivate button next to the credential.
