Known limitations and technical obstacles to data transfer
Address data that is not linked to projects in the customer's Severa does not automatically appear on customer data reports. If the customer needs such address data downloaded from Severa, the customer must notify customer service separately.
How data is transferred
The customer can export portable data primarily and independently directly by using the Reporting feature of the Severa system. The data is downloadable in Excel and CSV formats. Data can be exported in Excel and/or PDF formats.
If the customer encounters problems in exporting data, our support can be contacted via the chat found in Severa or by email at severa.support@visma.com.
Subcontractors
Up-to-date information on our subcontractors and their locations is available in the Visma Trust Centre.
Interfaces
The service has an open interface (API) that allows customers to use the service together with other cloud services in use by the customer. Documentation for the REST interface can be found on our support pages.
Disclosure of data to authorities
The police and other authorities may request access to data from us. This may include both personal data and other data. In all such cases, we follow strict internal policies and procedures when assessing data requests and consult our legal advisors. We share data only if strictly required by law, and only based on valid court orders or similar legal documents.
To prevent unauthorized access to the data in our possession, we also implement technical measures, such as encryption and access control. Visma’s security program guarantees a high level of information security and confidentiality.
Additionally, we ensure in contracts regarding our subcontractors that they also adhere to similar organizational and security measures as we do.
If we receive data requests from authorities outside the EEA, we ensure compliance with Article 32 of the Data Act. Our internal policies and routines are in accordance with this regulation.
