Action history

Action history records and displays a log of events made in Visma Severa. Specific actions are logged and are displayed with the date and time the change occurred, what was changed and the person who changed it. Events are listed in reverse chronological order.

All organizations are able to view changes made to users, absences, contacts and report exports. Changes to users, absences and report exports can be viewed from the Settings menu under top navigation.

Changes to contacts can be viewed from the Action history tab on contact.

When Action history add-on is enabled for your organization (Enterprise edition) in addition you can report changes made to projects and invoices.

Action history main view

When using the Action history add-on with administrator access rights you can access the main action history view under Reports > Report creation > Administration tab. By default all changes made on current day are listed with the latest changes on top.

If you need to narrow down the results you have the possibility to select a specific object type, view only specific actions (Change target) or actions made by a specific user (Changed by) and limit the time frame.

You also have the possibility to choose the values shown on the report. As default all available values are selected. Hit the Select value button to remove or change the order of result columns.

If you have made some changes to the result columns or such you can save the report for later use. The report can be found in the report gallery. You can also set the report as favorite or add it to your dashboard. Note that you can save reports for personal use only. There isn't a possibility to share these reports to others. Results can also be exported into an Excel or CSV file. 

Users, absences and report exports

Changes to users, absences and report exports can only be viewed in the main action history view found under Reports > Report creation > Administration tab.

Project

Changes to a specific sales case or project can be viewed using the Action history option in the three dots menu on case/project. The option is shown for users with financial rights to projects (i.e. project manager with rights to financials).

When you access the view all changes made to that project are listed as default. You have the option to narrow down the results using the filters found on top (Change target, Changed by and Time frame). You can also export the data into an Excel or CSV file.

Contacts

Changes to a specific contact can be viewed using the Action history tab under contact. The tab is shown for users with view rights to customers.

You have the option to narrow down the results using the filters found on top (Change target, Changed by and Time frame). You can also export the data into an Excel or CSV file.

Invoices

Changes to a specific invoice can be viewed using the Action history tab under invoice. The tab is shown for users with financial rights to projects (i.e. project manager with rights to financials).
