When your customer accepts the proposal you can easily create a project plan using proposal rows as the basis. Start by clicking Go to create project plan next to Close and go to sales case.
On the left you can see a preview of your proposal and on the right you'll have the option to select the structure for you project plan. There are three options to choose from:
- Subtotal rows as phases: If you have used subtotals on your proposal, you can add them as phases. The work hour estimate is calculated for subtotals that include work hours and it is the total amount of work hour rows. For fees the estimate is 0 h and can be edited afterwards on project plan.
- Work hour rows as phases: If you have added work hour rows, you can add them as phases. The work hour estimate is based on the amount of hours added to proposal.
- Subtotal rows as phases, work hour rows as sub-phases: You also have the possibility to include both subtotals and work hour rows.
Note that you don't have to include all rows to your plan. If you want to exclude some rows or subtotals just click the row. Excluded rows/subtotals can be added later from the same proposal. Full edit options are available on project plan.
By selecting Cancel the view is closed you are redirected to sales case. If you need to do some changes to proposal before creating the project plan you can go back to proposal by clicking the button next to Create phases and select Go back to proposal. From that menu you can also go and create a billing plan if you have not done that earlier (see Create billing plan from proposal).
