Existing customer databases and contact information from mobile phones can be imported to Severa 3 in Excel (.xls) format. Depending on the current format of the data, it may be necessary to save it as a comma-separated values (.csv) file, import it to Excel and then save it as an Excel file. It's easy to upload an Excel file to Severa 3. We offer this as a core feature, and if you'd like to read more about this tool please see the Wiki article Customer Import.
Case pricing is based on work hours, travel expenses, products or other fixed costs. Instructions for correct use of these pricing options are presented in the Case pricing article.

We've included a predefined report in Severa that lists all cases which have unbilled hours. It can be located by hovering on Cases in the top menu, and clicking on Uninvoiced cases. If for some reason you can't find it, you can create your own report using Power reports. For more information, click Power reports to read the article.
First choose Listings or Charts to select the type of report (charts are only available if add-on features have been activated). Then, select the area such as Accounts, Cases, etc. that you wish to research. If desired, after Select filter you can click to select criteria from the drop-down menu on the left to narrow the search. If desired, result information from the two columns can be clicked and dragged or double clicked to move them from one column to the other. Items in the right column will appear in the search results. Please read the Power reports article for more information.
To add banking details, click on Settings in the top menu and then click on Bank details in the Invoice section. Simply type information in the empty boxes to add a new bank account number, or click the Edit icon

To add contact details, click on Settings in the top menu and then click on Company details in the Organization section. Type to insert information in the corresponding boxes under Company on the left, and click Save at the bottom. From New in the top menu, click to select Work hours. Click in the “Select case” box to scroll and select to which open case the hours belong. Select the type of work or expense from the drop-down menu. Enter the number of hours and a description if desired. Click Save or Save and close. In either case, work hours can still be edited until they're invoiced. If you choose to Save and close, that date is shown on the calendar in green. Closed days are a helpful way to keep track of reported work hours. Please read Reporting work hours for more information.
When logging into Severa for the first time, the dashboard will display some example content and an element with links to the Support Center. You can choose to view content in either one or two columns, or replace it.
To add content to your dashboard:
Or, click the Remove content or Cancel button to empty the element content. Note: The dashboard allows you to specify and prioritize important information.
